Rising Star Tara Macri Debuts Cinematic Pop Anthem “Grace” for Listeners

Billboard charting artist Tara Macri explores the enduring influence of the people who shape our lives in her cinematic new single, Grace.

Billboard charting singer-songwriter and award-winning performer Tara Macri has released her highly anticipated new single, “Grace.” The track moves beyond traditional themes of heartbreak to explore a more universal human experience: the individuals who fundamentally alter the course of our lives and remain a permanent part of our identity. The song poses a central question to listeners: “Who is your Grace?” The narrative explores whether these figures are still present in our daily lives, have been lost, or were merely brief acquaintances who left an indelible mark.

“I realized we all have those people,” says Macri. “The ones who shape us, stay with us, and become part of who we are.”

The creative process for “Grace” began at Macri’s piano during a period of deep personal reflection. The composition evolved from an intimate, quiet inquiry into a sweeping, cinematic pop anthem under the guidance of producer Jordan “AliasOne” Winfield. To ensure the highest fidelity, the track was mixed by five-time GRAMMY Award winner Chris Lord Alge, resulting in a polished production that balances delicate piano arrangements with an expansive, atmospheric soundscape.

Complementing the single is a visually striking music video directed by Julia Baylis and Sam Guest of Anarene Films. Filmed on the streets of New York City, the video portrays a series of dreamlike intersections among strangers. “Grace is an odyssey through New York,” say Baylis and Guest. “It’s a dreamlike journey through the city where a group of people, at first disconnected, find one another through an ethereal moment, discovering strength in connection on a single city street where strangers pass every day.”

Macri brings a wealth of experience to this project, having built an extensive career across Broadway, film, and television. Known for her stage work in productions such as “Hairspray,” “Jersey Boys,” and “The First Wives Club,” she also earned critical acclaim for her role in the film “Outcry.” Her transition into music has been met with success, notably with her Billboard-charting single “Prettiest Girl in the Room.” “Grace” signals a new chapter for the artist, reinforcing her reputation for delivering emotionally resonant songwriting that connects deeply with her audience.
