Wolf Alice reveal tour dates and announce fourth album “The Clearing”, out August 29.
Wolf Alice have announced their most ambitious tour yet to celebrate their highly anticipated fourth album, The Clearing, due August 29. Kicking off September 10 in Atlanta, GA, the 20-date North American run will see the band hit major venues across the U.S., ending at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
This tour marks a career peak for the North London quartet, including a return to the iconic O2 Arena in London. They’ll also appear at Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend before launching into a major run across North America, Europe, and the UK through December.
The announcement follows the release of “Bloom Baby Bloom”, the band’s first new music in three years. Featuring Ellie Rowsell’s powerhouse vocals and a razor-sharp bass riff, it’s a dynamic and assertive start to this new era. “I wanted a rock song… to sing like Axl Rose,” says Rowsell, “but to be singing a song about being a woman.”
The Colin Solal Cardo-directed video for the track draws from All That Jazz and Bob Fosse, choreographed by Emmy Award winner Ryan Heffington.
Produced by GRAMMY®-winner Greg Kurstin and written in London, The Clearing promises to be a fearless, emotional, and genre-defying statement from a band that continues to evolve. With The Clearing, Wolf Alice confirm their place as a generation-defining act.
