Rising artist Will Swinton releases “Hold You Again,” a moody folk-rock single from his upcoming EP, out December 13.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Will Swinton unveils his evocative new single, “Hold You Again,” available now via 10K Projects/Capitol Records. The track combines moody folk rock with cinematic Western grit, delivering a dark, driving sound that sets the tone for his upcoming EP, December, arriving on December 13.

“Hold You Again” opens with urgent strumming, pounding drums, and stormy guitars, embodying the emotional turbulence of love lost and the desire for redemption. Swinton’s haunting lyrics showcase his vulnerability: “Maybe it’s what I deserve, for all the lies and all the hurt, but I still gotta try / ’Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes.”

Accompanying the release is a live-recorded performance video directed by Brandon Chen. The minimalist visuals perfectly reflect the song’s intensity and raw emotion, continuing a visual series that includes Swinton’s previous releases, “Where I Belong” and “Walls.” Notably, “Walls” earned acclaim from Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need to Know and ET’s New Music Friday.

Swinton’s earlier single, “Flames,” also made waves, reaching #9 on the Hot 20 NZ singles chart. With “Hold You Again,” Swinton reaffirms his place as a rising star with a distinctive sound and powerful storytelling.

Stream “Hold You Again” now and pre-save December, out December 13.
