LA trio Trousdale release sophomore album “Growing Pains”, a bold, emotionally resonant evolution of their sound.
Trousdale, the powerhouse pop-country trio from Los Angeles, delivers an arresting sophomore album with Growing Pains, out now via Independent Co. Comprised of Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones, the group pairs their signature harmonies with their most emotionally revealing work to date.
For Trousdale, the album title says it all. Growing Pains explores what it feels like to face emotional discomfort, navigate major life transitions, and learn to embrace transformation. “We’ve been thinking a lot about the tension that comes with change, wanting it, fighting it, embracing it,” says Jones. “But learning to thrive in that moment.”
“From what was, something new can always grow,” adds D’Andrea, grounding the record in resilience and rebirth.

Co-produced by the band alongside John Mark Nelson and recorded primarily live in the room, the album includes contributions from Mags Duval and Lawrence Rothman, with a live rhythm section lending an even more dynamic, grounded sound. The result is 12 songs that span pop warmth and country soul, while lyrically confronting heartbreak, uncertainty, loss, and loneliness.
“Making Growing Pains has been a journey of growth and reinvention,” Trousdale shares. “We kept things simple, enjoyed the process, and trusted our collaborators. It reminded us how powerful it can be to ask for help.”
With Growing Pains, Trousdale doesn’t just sound bigger — they sound more human, more honest, and more assured than ever. It’s a glowing reminder that even through discomfort, beauty can bloom.
