Tems Unveils Emotionally Charged Visual for “Boy O Boy” Following Historic GRAMMY Win

Tems releases the official music video for “Boy O Boy,” a black-and-white visual that explores love, pain, and resilience.

Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Oscar-nominated artist Tems has unveiled the official music video for “Boy O Boy”, a standout track from her critically acclaimed debut studio album, Born In The Wild. Directed by Loris Russier, the black-and-white video brings Tems’ powerful storytelling to life, exploring the highs and lows of relationships with raw intensity.

Tems recently made history at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, becoming the first Nigerian artist to win multiple GRAMMYs. She won Best African Music Performance for “Love Me JeJe”, a milestone that cements her place as a global powerhouse. She also received three additional GRAMMY nominations, including Best R&B Song (“Burning”) and Best Global Music Album (Born In The Wild).

Since its release in June 2024, Born In The Wild has amassed over 629 million streams worldwide, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart. Thirteen tracks from the album landed on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, highlighting her crossover success. The album has also been recognized on Rolling Stone, Billboard, and NPR’s Best Albums of 2024 lists.

Beyond her studio work, Tems has been captivating audiences with unforgettable live performances. She recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, delivering soul-stirring renditions of her hits.
