Sofia Camara shares emotional summer anthem “Girls Like You” via Universal Music Canada.
Sofia Camara has shared her vibrant new single “Girls Like You,” a catchy and emotionally honest release that marks a shift in sonic tone for the rising pop act. Released via 21 Entertainment and Universal Music Canada, with support from Mercury Records and Polydor Records, the track is already gaining traction with an accompanying lyric video and official visualizer on the way.
“This song is about emotional muscle memory,” Camara explains. “Even though I’ve loved and lost, there’s something so beautiful about a little bit of danger and the unknown – especially when it feels so familiar, like love.”
Produced and co-written by Mike Wise, Nathan Ferraro, Lowell, and Donny Bravo, the single reunites Camara with the same collaborators behind her hit “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent).” Lowell and Ferraro also bring award-winning credentials to the track, including the JUNO Award and GRAMMY-nominated songwriting for Beyoncé.
With over 14.4M views across teasers, “Girls Like You” has already become a fan favorite, especially after Camara debuted it during her European tour with Dean Lewis. Now, she gears up for a packed year ahead: her first headline Healing Hearts Tour is set for October, and appearances at Osheaga and Lollapalooza will mark her festival debut.
