Selena Gomez & benny blanco’s Vevo Extended Play film includes live songs and rare insights.
Selena Gomez and benny blanco welcome fans into their creative and personal world with the release of “I Said I Love You First”, a Vevo Extended Play short film now available via SMG Music/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records. The film showcases the couple’s performances of “Sunset Blvd,” “Scared of Loving You,” and “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten,” recorded in the same rooms where the songs were originally written.
Filmed at their home in Los Angeles, the minimalist visual captures stripped-down performances alongside a candid interview about their creative process and communication as a couple.
“It’s so easy for us to work together on a project because we speak the same language both in music and personally,” benny explains. Selena adds, “You’re really good at making sure it sounds authentic.”
Vevo’s Extended Play series takes viewers through an evolving artistic journey, using real locations to match each artist’s project vision. “From the organic conversations and performances, you can really feel the love and support,” says Vevo’s SVP JP Evangelista.
This intimate visual experience pairs storytelling, music, and real-life chemistry—offering fans a rare, unfiltered view into one of music’s most compelling creative partnerships.
