Sabrina Carpenter releases “Manchild,” marking her next evolution after the chart-breaking “Short n’ Sweet” era.
Sabrina Carpenter returns with “Manchild,” a dynamic new single that introduces the next phase of her career. Released via Island Records, the track finds Sabrina reuniting with trusted collaborators Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff, the same team behind her celebrated 2024 album Short n’ Sweet.
Having redefined modern pop last year, Sabrina continues her rise with “Manchild.” The track comes on the heels of a record-breaking stretch, where Short n’ Sweet not only topped global charts but also produced three Spotify Billions Club singles—“Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste.” The latter even unseated “Please Please Please” from the top of Spotify’s U.S. chart.
GRAMMY® success soon followed. Carpenter earned six nominations and took home two wins—“Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Best Pop Solo Performance.” She made her GRAMMY performance debut with a medley of “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” solidifying her status as a top-tier live performer. 
The Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe) release included a standout collaboration with Dolly Parton and fresh material like “Busy Woman,” introduced live during her sold-out arena tour.
Beyond the U.S., Sabrina made historic moves in the UK, becoming the first woman to simultaneously occupy the top three singles chart positions and the first international artist to win the BRITs’ Global Success award. In Australia, she dominated ARIA charts with back-to-back No. 1 hits.
