Robin Cisek releases “Escape,” a heartfelt tribute to support systems, with a new visualizer video.

With less than two months to go before her highly anticipated full-length album, award-winning singer-songwriter-producer Robin Cisek is giving fans another preview with her new single “Escape,” available now.

Produced by Cisek alongside Brandon Unis and Brad Simons, “Escape” serves as a thank you letter to the important people in Cisek’s life. “Sometimes I get really overwhelmed and I’m so thankful for the people that help me get a break and bring me back down to earth,” says Cisek. “Without each of these people, I wouldn’t have accomplished everything I have to date and, for that, I’ll be forever grateful for them.”

Earlier this year, the Métis pop artist announced her upcoming album with the release of its first single, “Play Dirty,” a pop anthem infused with an empowering edge. The project highlights women’s roles in the music industry, a cause close to Cisek’s heart. “I’m so proud that this project allowed me to work with an incredible group of women and that it gave me the opportunity to strengthen my production skills,” she shares.

Accompanying the new single is an official visualizer for “Escape,” self-directed and produced by Cisek. The video showcases Edmonton’s vibrant art scene, featuring local artist MAST. “Edmonton is such an artistic city,” says Cisek, “and when I’m looking to escape limiting thoughts I tend to take a walk around the city to clear my mind and find inspiration.”

Following her performance in Grande Prairie with No Girl Left Behind, Cisek will continue touring this summer with stops in Edmonton and Toronto.
