Riley Green embraces stripped-down country on his new acoustic release “Midtown Sessions.”

Country chart-topper Riley Green has released “Midtown Sessions,” an acoustic EP that emphasizes his storytelling roots and classic country sound. Issued through Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, the project comes on the heels of last year’s acclaimed full-length album Don’t Mind If I Do.

The five-track EP is a return to basics for Green, showcasing his voice in an unfiltered, unembellished format. Erik Dylan produced the project, with Green himself taking the reins on several tracks including “Worst Way” and “Jesus Saves.” The project also features a powerful reinterpretation of Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy in Me.”

“Worst Way” has already proven itself to be a standout hit, earning Double PLATINUM certification and becoming Green’s fifth No. 1 single.

With his Damn Country Music Tour rolling across major cities and international stops, Green continues to take his music directly to fans. He recently announced the return of Duckman Jam, a charitable event in partnership with Ducks Unlimited, raising funds for North American wetland conservation.

Green commented on his experience producing some of the EP’s tracks, reflecting a growing creative confidence and a desire to let the music speak without studio polish.

The Midtown Sessions EP also includes:

  • “Change My Mind”
  • “Bartender In Destin”

Fans can stream Midtown Sessions now and catch Green live through November, with dates in New York, Chicago, Boston, and the UK still to come.
