Global K-pop sensation RIIZE kicks off 2025 with the release of “Hug,” a nostalgic reinterpretation of TVXQ!’s 2004 debut single. Released via SM Entertainment, the track blends Y2K aesthetics with RIIZE’s signature pristine harmonies, offering a sentimental yet modern twist on a timeless classic.
“Hug” is featured on SM Entertainment’s highly anticipated 30th anniversary album, a project celebrating the company’s legacy by reimagining iconic hits from its illustrious catalog. The album pairs senior and junior artists to create fresh interpretations of the label’s most beloved songs.
The celebration continues with SM’s SMTOWN LIVE 2025 Tour, which kicks off in Seoul on January 11 and 12 before traveling to cities like Mexico City, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. Fans can look forward to additional artist announcements as the tour progresses. 
RIIZE has quickly established itself as a leading force in K-pop. Their debut album, RIIZING, was a standout success in 2024, earning accolades from Billboard, Stereogum, and GRAMMY as one of the year’s Best K-pop releases. The group also swept major music awards, including Favourite Global Male Performer at MAMA Awards and Best Male Group at the Melon Music Awards.
