Reneé Rapp has dropped a compelling new single, “Why Is She Still Here?”, giving fans another look at her highly anticipated sophomore album BITE ME, due out August 1 via Polydor Records. The release is paired with a minimalist yet powerful live performance visualizer that focuses attention solely on Rapp’s commanding vocals under a spotlight.
This latest track arrives just as Rapp prepares to hit the road for her biggest tour yet. The BITE ME North American headlining tour begins September 23 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and includes performances at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in NYC and The Kia Forum in LA.
The buzz around BITE ME has been steadily building. In June, Rapp launched the BITE.ME website, where fans were invited to “sign a hundred NDA’s” — a teaser that led to a series of viral moments across social media. Her previously released singles “Leave Me Alone” and “Mad” were introduced through live TV performances, underscoring Rapp’s commitment to connecting directly with fans.
