Queen Naija, the multi-platinum artist known for her emotive storytelling, has released her latest single, “Straight Outta Heaven,” via Capitol Records. This heartfelt track captures the joys and challenges of motherhood, blending Queen Naija’s signature vocal power with deeply personal lyrics.
“Straight Outta Heaven” reflects on Queen Naija’s journey as a mother to two sons, exploring the unprepared yet fulfilling role she’s grown into. The song’s lyrics express her unwavering love, hope, and prayers for her children: “Being your mother didn’t come with instructions / So if I mess up please just know that I love you.” She continues with a tender promise, “As long as you’re okay / Then mommy is okay / If we ain’t got nobody else then we got us.”
For Queen Naija, the track serves as a follow-up to her earlier hit “Mama’s Hand,” which was dedicated to her firstborn son. Speaking about the inspiration behind her new single, she shares, “When I became pregnant with my second-born, I worried how I would be able to split my love in half. That feeling led me to creating ‘Straight Outta Heaven.’ There are no instructions that come with how to do this #momlife, but all of us are just trying our best.” 
“Straight Outta Heaven” follows her recent releases, “Missing You” and “Good Girls Finish Last,” marking her return to music after a brief hiatus.
