Poni debuts on HypnoVizion with Hellscape, a dark electronic EP featuring haunting themes and captivating vocals.
Rising dark electronic artist Poni has released her latest project, Hellscape, a three-track EP now available via HypnoVizion. Marking her debut on the label, Hellscape is a conceptual journey through midtempo bass, gothic lyricism, and haunting melodies, exploring themes of torment and despair.
The EP showcases Poni’s unique artistic vision, featuring collaborations with twin sister duo Satin Puppets on “Leeches” and Nashville singer-songwriter Notelle on “Leave You in the Dark.” Poni herself lends her vocals to “Conceptual Reality,” further highlighting her multifaceted talent. Together, these tracks create a cohesive narrative that invites listeners into the shadowy depths of Hellscape.

Describing the project, Poni explains, “Calamitous times and places that are void of hope, Hellscape tells a story of three vastly unpleasant circumstances. Vengeance and how the murdered haunts the murderer. Heartbreak and being in a toxic relationship with a narcissist, ultimately leaving them to ruin their own lives. Despair and how lost and brainwashed society is. All of which are tied together by the sinister workings of Apep, the demon of darkness and destruction (my reimagination). Is there really no hope though? That’s up for interpretation.”
With its brooding atmosphere and rich storytelling, Hellscape cements Poni’s place as a rising force in the dark electronic music scene. Stream the EP now on all platforms and experience its gripping soundscapes firsthand.
