Rising artist Politis Dimitris has launched his 2.0 project with the striking debut of “Born Into This,” a single recorded in Nashville that captures the spiritual grit and sonic power of Southern American rock. Known for his role in Citizen Jim, Dimitris now steps into solo territory with a work that is raw, deliberate, and thematically rich.
Influenced by his transatlantic journey—studying psychology in Pennsylvania and living between Greece and the U.S.—the song is built on a base of emotional contrast and cultural nuance. The production, soaked in analog weight and resonant drum work, reflects this complexity.
“This song was recorded in a large studio in Nashville. You can hear the size of the space, the thick mass of sound, and the powerful drum resonance. There’s a far west feel—like a Hummer H1 charging through dust and wind,” Dimitris explains. 
The track brings listeners into a visceral reflection on modern existence. Infused with animistic imagery and existential weight, “Born Into This” is as much about inner revelation as it is about outer force.
“Born Into This” represents the beginning of an international push for Politis Dimitris 2.0, with plans to expand his solo presence beyond Athens. A Japanese tour and U.S. shows are in development, building toward a defining year in 2025.
