“Quisiera Saber” is a raw and tender moment from Niko Rubio’s new EP “Ring Ring”, out June 24 via Atlantic Records.
Niko Rubio has unveiled her latest single “Quisiera Saber,” a tender ballad drawn from her upcoming EP Ring Ring, due out June 24. The song, released via Atlantic Records, highlights the young Mexican/Salvadoran artist’s gift for emotive storytelling and sonic warmth.
Backed by soft Spanish guitar elements, “Quisiera Saber” captures a deep emotional plea. “‘Quisiera Saber’ is the saddest song on the EP,” Rubio explains. “It says, ‘I wish I knew how to help you and take away all the pain, if you would let me.’ I tried to be as vulnerable as possible for this project.”
The single follows “Ring Ring,” the EP’s vibrant title track featuring horns and a breezy rhythm that has resonated widely across social media. The track was co-written with Mike Rincon and Julian Bernal, known for work with Kali Uchis and Sebastian Yatra.
Produced by Lester Mendez, whose credits include Shakira and Santana, the EP merges intimate lyricism with rhythmic variety, spanning danceable grooves and emotional depth. Rubio describes Ring Ring as her most complete work to date: “There’s a song you can dance to, one you can cry to, one you can sing along to and one that’ll make u wanna do it all simultaneously…”
To celebrate the EP’s release, Rubio will perform a special show at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on June 24. Tickets are on sale now.
