Nao releases “Happy People,” the first single from her upcoming album Jupiter, out February 21 via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.
Kicking off the year with vibrant energy, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Nao has released her latest single, “Happy People.” The upbeat track is the first glimpse of her highly anticipated fourth studio album, Jupiter, set to drop on February 21 via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.
“Happy People” exudes positivity with its feel-good rhythm, textured backing vocals, and a wholesome beat complemented by Nao’s distinct vocal style. Co-written by Nao, Stint, Yakob, Lauren Keen, and Kareem James, with production from Stint and Yakob, the single offers a joyful introduction to Nao’s evolving sound.
Discussing the single, Nao shares: “‘Happy People’ is about finding peace, joy and purpose in meaningful connections with those who truly care. It celebrates the strength of relationships and friendships.” 
The release coincides with the start of Nao’s 2025 North American, UK, and European Tour, which begins later in February, promising fans an electrifying live experience.
In the lead-up to Jupiter, Nao has already shared several tracks, including the soulful “All of Me” and the nostalgic “Elevate.” Each release highlights her versatility, blending alternative R&B, shimmering guitar riffs, and heartfelt lyrics into a dynamic sonic tapestry. The tender ballad “Wildflowers,” recorded at Abbey Road Studios during a transformative period in her life, further underscores the emotional depth of her upcoming album.
