Singer-songwriter Mergui continues his breakout year with a powerful new remix of “Risk It All,” featuring the production stylings of EDM duo ALTÉGO. Out now on streaming platforms with an accompanying visualizer, this version of the track taps into high-octane energy while preserving the emotional weight of the original.
The track was first introduced earlier this year as part of the 2024-2025 NFL GameDay Morning Show soundtrack. Co-written by Marc Lo and Prince Fox, the single offered a deeply personal take on romantic vulnerability. “‘Risk It All’ is a reflection of all the times I’ve chosen love, art, and growth over comfort,” Mergui said. ALTÉGO’s remix breathes new life into the theme, pairing it with energetic beats and a driving rhythm perfect for summer playlists and club floors.
Mergui complements the electronic release with a nationwide acoustic tour via Sofar Sounds, presenting a more personal side to his music. These intimate shows, spanning Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, and two nights in New York, are matched with the artist’s emotionally transparent lyricism and minimalist arrangements. 
“Risk It All” isn’t the only track catching attention. Mergui’s recent single “Purple Rose,” which debuted in the virtual world of The Sims and was sung in Simlish, continues to draw new listeners. His latest EP, Nobody Really Knows, released earlier this year, featured notable collaborations and writing credits from iconic figures like Diane Warren.
