MARINA shares “PRINCESS OF POWER” and new video for “I <3 YOU” — bold, free, and unfiltered.

MARINA’s sixth studio album PRINCESS OF POWER is officially here, and it comes packed with bold themes, fearless production, and a new level of creative freedom. Released via Queenie Records/BMG, the album is her first as an independent artist and marks a significant milestone in her artistic journey.

The album’s arrival is paired with the Olivia De Camps-directed video for “I <3 YOU,” an emotionally resonant synth-pop single that showcases MARINA’s introspective side. “One of my lessons in the last few years is that love — and showing love — is not a weak thing,” MARINA shares. “Of all the superpowers we have as humans, love is our greatest one.”

Fresh off her double Coachella Main Stage sets, MARINA is set to bring this new material to WorldPride Festival tonight in D.C., followed by Governors Ball tomorrow in New York. Additional festival dates this summer will allow fans to connect with this new era live.

In contrast to the global lens of her 2021 project, PRINCESS OF POWER is personal, raw, and empowering. MARINA notes, “I’ve accessed this new part of myself. It’s really a rebuilding-my-life-from-scratch type of album. Which is probably why it has an exciting energy.”

With highlights like “BUTTERFLY,” “EVERYBODY KNOWS I’M SAD,” and “CUNTISSIMO,” the album emphasizes female power, identity, and reclaiming one’s narrative. In her own words, “They feel that it’s been co-opted… I would love to be able to free younger women of that, the feeling that our bodies don’t quite belong to us.”

PRINCESS OF POWER is more than an album—it’s MARINA’s manifesto.
