MARINA shares bold new single “CUNTISSIMO” and reveals sixth studio album “PRINCESS OF POWER”, arriving June 6.
MARINA returns with the explosive new single “CUNTISSIMO,” accompanied by the announcement of her sixth studio album PRINCESS OF POWER, out June 6 via Queenie Records/BMG. The upcoming LP is now available for pre-order on vinyl and CD.
A bold anthem to self-ownership and sexual agency, “CUNTISSIMO” is a love song to independence. Empowered and playful, MARINA references icons like “Salma Hayek in the sun / Louise and Thelma on the run,” reminding listeners that power and desire are not to be muted. “So often, women don’t think they’re allowed to feel their sexuality in a way that doesn’t involve how it looks for men,” MARINA explains. “They feel that it’s been co-opted — I would love to be able to free younger women of that.”
“CUNTISSIMO” is the third offering from PRINCESS OF POWER, following February’s “CUPID’S GIRL” and January’s “BUTTERFLY,” the latter of which has surpassed 15 million global streams. MARINA’s first new music since 2022, these singles herald the dawn of a powerful new era. 
The track arrives with a captivating music video directed by Olivia de Camps, enhancing the message with cinematic flair and striking visuals.
