Maisy Kay launches vibrant single “Somebody You Never Touched” with symbolic lyricism and fierce vocals.

UK-born, LA-based pop artist Maisy Kay returns with her new single “Somebody You Never Touched,” arriving just as she announces her upcoming solo tour. The track follows her international journey on the road with Jamie Miller, where she connected with fans across continents.

Moving beyond the dual Wonderlust projects, “The Dusk” and “The Dawn,” Maisy delivers a charged pop performance that radiates self-assurance. The song balances contrasting emotions—regret over a past relationship, and the liberating feeling of outgrowing it.

Speaking about the track, she shares:
“Somebody You Never Touched is based off of the concept that every 7 years, your skin cells completely renew, so in theory, you could be a completely different person, or someone that your ex never touched…”

The track’s concept is rooted in transformation, both physical and emotional. With strong production by Mike Avenaim, the song is built around pulsing rhythms and layered synths that make it equal parts danceable and empowering.

Lyrically, the idea that every cell in the body is replaced after seven years provides an insightful lens through which to process heartbreak. It’s a fresh angle on the breakup narrative, filtered through Maisy’s sharp pop instincts.

Her headline tour will kick off in Los Angeles on September 18th, promising a bold new stage vision. In her own words:
“This show, nay, experience, will be nothing like I’ve ever done before.”
