Lyra Unleashes “Weird Club,” a Defiant New Pop Anthem for the Proud and Unapologetic

Lyra Lyra

Lyra’s new single “Weird Club” is a fearless pop celebration of difference, unity, and radical self-expression.

Explosive Irish pop artist Lyra returns with a bold statement in the form of her latest single, “Weird Club”—a vibrant, high-voltage anthem designed to celebrate individuality and unapologetic self-expression. Out now, the track was co-written with Grammy-nominated songwriter Anna Krantz, known for her work with Ed Sheeran and Geri Halliwell.

“Weird Club” arrives on the heels of Lyra’s massive 2024, which saw her debut album LYRA soar to No.1 and her sold-out tour electrify venues across Ireland. This new single marks the start of an empowered new chapter, fusing shimmering synths with Lyra’s signature powerhouse vocals to deliver an open invitation to misfits, originals, and dreamers everywhere.

“She, he, they, them – whatever your category, you’re one of us,” Lyra says. “And in my world, that means you’re iconic.”

The single reinforces Lyra’s ongoing mission to uplift and unify. As a proud ally and outspoken advocate for inclusion, Lyra uses her artistry to break barriers and celebrate what makes each person unique. Earlier this year, she stepped beyond the stage, joining former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Ray Goggins in the travel series Uncharted, filmed in South Africa’s rugged Drakensberg Mountains. The series offered fans a glimpse into Lyra’s resilience and adventurous spirit.

With “Weird Club,” Lyra unites pop brilliance with a powerful cultural message: being different isn’t just accepted—it’s iconic.
