GRAMMY-nominated Afrobeats star Lojay teams up with rising UK R&B force and two-time MOBO Award winner Odeal for their first-ever collaboration, “Mwah!”—a sensual, slow-burning Afro-R&B track that explores themes of desire, intimacy, and passion.
A smooth Lagos-to-London link-up, “Mwah!” marks a moment of alignment between two artists riding high on recent career milestones. Lojay’s velvety vocal tone weaves evocative imagery—“swing my way with your cinnamon fragrance”—as he sets the mood for this luxurious and immersive duet. Odeal’s soulful contribution effortlessly complements the rhythm, making the chemistry between the pair undeniable.
“The best thing about ‘Mwah!’ was how unexpectedly it came to life,” says Lojay. “I had listened to Odeal’s music before meeting him, but I really didn’t know what to expect from the session. I think that was part of what made it so magical. The chemistry was instant.” 
Following his Sarz-produced single “Somebody Like You,” “Mwah!” serves as a strong indicator of what fans can expect from Lojay’s forthcoming debut album, due later this year.
