Lil Wayne drops “Tha Carter VI” with features from Andrea Bocelli, 2 Chainz, and his sons.

Lil Wayne returns with Tha Carter VI, released today via Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records. As the sixth installment in the iconic Tha Carter series, the album reflects years of creative work and brings together some of the most eclectic names in music.

Produced by a powerhouse lineup including Wayne, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Wyclef Jean, and others, the 19-track project includes a wide-ranging guest list: Andrea Bocelli, Bono, Jelly Roll, MGK, Big Sean, Kodak Black, 2 Chainz, and Wayne’s own sons, Kameron Carter and Lil Novi.

“Real art can’t be rushed — and y’all know I ain’t never been on nobody’s clock but mine,” Wayne says. “Been silent but not still. To the fans who’ve been waiting, I love you. This album is for the ones who’ve been riding with me through all Tha Carters. We takin’ it further than ever before with this one. Tunechi back. C6 is here. I’m just bein myself. “The Days” featuring Bono was introduced to the public during Game 2 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Thunder and Pacers, kicking off the album’s creative rollout across broadcasts.

In celebration, Wayne will host a historic headlining concert at Madison Square Garden on June 6. It will be his first time headlining the iconic venue, offering an exclusive preview of the live experience to come.He also revealed details for the Tha Carter VI North American tour. Featuring Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington on every date—and NoCap on select shows—the tour celebrates more than two decades of Tha Carter history.
