Electronic powerhouses Laidback Luke and Henry Fong have joined forces to deliver “Mami”, a Latin Bass House anthem infused with pulsating bass, groovy percussion, and fiery vocals. Out now, the track is a fusion of Dutch House and UK Bass House, showcasing the signature styles of both producers.
Built on a bouncing bassline and an irresistible Baile Funk vocal sample, “Mami” is designed for high-energy dancefloors. The track embodies the Dirty Dutch influence that Laidback Luke helped pioneer while incorporating Henry Fong’s love for UK Bass House, creating a dynamic and refreshing sound.
“I’ve been a fan of Henry’s work for a long time,” says Laidback Luke. “When we got into the studio, we blended our influences—his UK Bass House obsession and my Dutch beats—resulting in this unique banger. The Portuguese vocals bring an edgy vibe that really elevates the track.” 
Henry Fong adds, “Luke and I wanted to channel the energy of early 2010s Dutch House, with big drums and infectious drops, but modernized for 2025. We finished the track in just three hours—it flowed effortlessly!”
