Laidback Luke is bringing holiday cheer to his fans with the release of two fresh remixes of Charli XCX’s tracks “Guess” and “Talk Talk.” Both remixes are now available for streaming via SoundCloud, offering a club-ready spin on singles from Charli’s critically acclaimed album BRAT.
Having tested these remixes on dancefloors worldwide, Luke shares, “Who didn’t have a Brat summer? Charli ruled, and I wanted a version of ‘Guess’ that I could play in my sets—one specially catered to club and festival DJs. It was the hardest remix I’ve made because the original is so good!” After weeks of testing, Luke finally perfected the remix, which he says has been a dancefloor favorite ever since.
For his “Talk Talk” remix, inspiration struck instantly from the lyric, “I wanna fly you out to Amsterdam.” Luke explained, “That needed a signature Dirty Dutch treatment! It was such fun going back to my Dutch House roots. This has been a weapon since the first time I tested it live.”
