Canadian singer-songwriter Josh Ross starts 2025 with a powerful new single, “Leave Me Too,” out now via Universal Music Canada and UMG Nashville. Produced by long-time collaborator Matt Geroux, the track is a deeply introspective country-rock anthem, delving into themes of heartbreak, self-reflection, and acceptance.
Ross shares: “This song stood out to me from the moment I heard it. It’s about understanding why someone walked away from a relationship—realizing you might have done the same in their position.”
Accompanied by a visualizer, “Leave Me Too” marks the beginning of a major project for Ross, hinting at an exciting year ahead. 
The release follows a career-defining 2024, with Ross earning five JUNO nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, making him the first country artist to co-lead nominations in over a decade. His success extends beyond Canada, with over 970.5 million global streams and RIAA Gold certification in the U.S.
Ross is set to support Jelly Roll on tour in Canada this March before hitting major festival stages, including Cavendish Beach in PEI. With “Leave Me Too” launching his next chapter, 2025 is shaping up to be his biggest year yet.
