Jax Jones kicks off a bold new era with “Bad Boys,” featuring Rebecca Black and sooyeon via Eastern Margins/Astralwerks.

Jax Jones is back—and he’s taking no prisoners. The global dance music powerhouse returns with “Bad Boys,” a high-voltage new single featuring alt-pop disruptor Rebecca Black and co-production from Korean-born, London-based club force sooyeon. Released via Eastern Margins and Astralwerks, the track signals the start of an audacious new chapter for Jones.

A certified club weapon, “Bad Boys” has already been tested across global stages from Pacha Ibiza to Fuji Rock Japan. With electrifying energy and a full-throttle aesthetic, the track seamlessly connects East and West—bridging underground culture with pop power.

Since relocating to Bangkok at the end of 2023, Jones has immersed himself in the soundscapes of East and Southeast Asia, taking influence from redline—a high-intensity sound movement defined by Eastern Margins as “audio that pushes its limits.” The result? A bold, genre-smashing new direction. “This is organic discovery via friends or actively engaging in the musical community,” he shares. “I’ve been fully locked in on this journey of discovery… and I hope it engages listeners from London to Bangkok!”

Rebecca Black, fresh off her SALVATION project, brings a razor-sharp edge to the track, while sooyeon adds signature attitude and sonic punch. “This is an unreal collaboration I did not have on my 2025 bingo card! It’s such a fun and addictive track—I’m obsessed,” says sooyeon.

Backed by boundary-breaking label Eastern Margins, “Bad Boys” doesn’t just slap—it unites club cultures, crashes genres, and redefines what a global banger looks (and sounds) like in 2025.
