Jade Bird unveils “Nobody,” an aching new single from “Who Wants To Talk About Love?” out July 18.
Jade Bird is back with another poignant single, “Nobody,” marking the fourth track to be released from her upcoming third studio album Who Wants To Talk About Love?, due July 18 via Glassnote Records.
Emotionally charged and sonically expansive, “Nobody” finds Bird at her most vulnerable. Written by Jade herself and produced by Andrew Wells (Teddy Swims, Phoebe Bridgers), the track captures the inner turmoil of knowing a relationship has unraveled yet refusing to let go. “Don’t want to have to call my mother, tell her we can’t see past all our problems,” she sings—a lyric that encapsulates the rawness of her current work.
The track is a continuation of the themes introduced in previous singles “Who Wants,” “Avalanche,” and “Dreams.” Together, these releases preview an album centered around reckoning, healing, and emotional growth. Bird collaborated with producers Andrew Sarlo and Greg Kurstin, infusing each song with sonic richness and lyrical vulnerability.
Jade describes the album as “a cathartic reckoning of historical experience,” adding, “It’s a moment in time where facing her truth, her fears and her reality in this world became unavoidable.”
Now based in Los Angeles, Jade has evolved from teenage prodigy to seasoned artist. Her genre-fluid approach continues to defy industry norms, weaving together pop, Americana, rock, and folk influences.
“Nobody” isn’t just a single—it’s a statement from an artist who continues to grow louder, clearer, and more fearless with every release.
