Def Jam’s rising star GELO is stepping into his spotlight with the release of his debut album League of My Own, showcasing his West Coast roots and unmatched energy. The 13-song project includes major highlights like “Booted Up,” “Tweaker,” “Law N Order,” and “Can You Please” featuring GloRilla.
Earlier this year, XXL welcomed GELO into its 2025 Freshman Class — a nod that underlined his growing reputation. His performance on the BET Awards Pre-Show turned even more heads, igniting interest ahead of the project drop.
Tracks like “POLLASEEDS” and “Shook Da Game” bring intense bass and unapologetic lyrics, while “1 Deal” delivers a personal note: 
“All I need is 1 deal.”
GELO’s lyrical edge is present throughout the album. On “Beware of Dog,” he writes:
