FISHER and BRITs-nominated bbyclose team up for their addictive single “Blackberries” via CATCH & RELEASE.

The latest addition to 2025’s dance catalog arrives in the form of “Blackberries”, a bold new collaboration between global dance heavyweight FISHER and rising vocalist bbyclose. Released July 18 on CATCH & RELEASE, the track is primed to dominate the airwaves.

Built around infectious production—bright synths, smooth pads, and a driving bassline—“Blackberries” is a vibrant display of both artists’ strengths. bbyclose brings lyrical creativity and magnetic vocals, creating a track that’s equal parts feel-good and unforgettable.

Revealing the backstory, bbyclose shared: “‘I think I met you in a dream last night’ was a line that I had written down in my little red book of ideas for a couple months… It was a super hot sunny day in London and we sat outside finessing the lyrics and Blackberries came to be. Fun fact, the song almost ended up being called Wasabi.”

Already a club favorite, “Blackberries” has been featured at FISHER’s Ibiza residency [UNVRS], where he’s hosted artists like Sammy Virji, Michael Bibi, and more. The residency runs through September, with sets from Chris Lake, Benny Benassi, and Eliza Rose still ahead.

FISHER’s summer schedule also includes appearances at Elrow Ushuaïa on July 23 and a sold-out FISHER on the Thames show in London. On September 20, he returns to the UK for The Warehouse Project.

As for bbyclose, her breakout with “Kisses” has surpassed 400 million streams and her collaborative resume keeps expanding with tracks like “Craving 4 U” and “Dream Come True.”

With momentum on both sides, “Blackberries” arrives as a must-hear anthem, signaling another standout season for both artists.
