Esha Tewari previews her new EP wraith with “waltz,” a nostalgic track out now before the May 1 release.

Emerging indie-folk artist Esha Tewari has shared a new single titled “waltz”, ahead of her third EP wraith, which is set for release on Thursday, May 1. The introspective track follows recent singles like “million times,” “empty pages,” “things i want,” and “you were mine,” offering a final emotional preview before the full EP drops.

Speaking about the new song, Esha explains:

“this is the final track of my EP, i wanted to make a little closing statement sort of that leads into my next project. it goes through little parts of nostalgia and growing up, it’s a really special song to me. and maybe might want to make you waltz”.

“waltz” continues Tewari’s evolution within her acoustic-rooted, indie-folk sound, blending tender lyricism with understated instrumentation that evokes a sense of quiet reflection.

The release follows a huge weekend for the singer-songwriter, as she kicked off her Australian tour with a sold-out show at Sydney’s Factory Theatre. The tour continues with sold-out dates in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, with final tickets available in Adelaide. This marks her second sold-out Australian run, following her successful headline tour in November 2024.

Esha’s global fanbase continues to grow. Her North American “wraith tour” launches in San Francisco on July 3 and spans 17 cities, ending in Washington DC on August 9. With sold-out stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, Houston, and a venue upgrade in Atlanta, anticipation is high.

Since first sharing music on TikTok in early 2024, Esha has garnered 13 million+ global streams, 805K Spotify monthly listeners, and a devoted audience she lovingly refers to as Tewarians.
