David Guetta and Cedric Gervais return with ‘A Better World’—a nu-disco summer hit rooted in French house nostalgia.
David Guetta and Cedric Gervais team up once again with the release of their vibrant new single, A Better World, out now across all major streaming platforms. Designed to light up dancefloors this summer, the track offers infectious nu-disco energy, soulful instrumentation, and lyrics that speak to unity and optimism. Drawing inspiration from Jackie Moore’s joyful 1970s sound, the track showcases a blend of live instrumentation and fresh vocals, bringing a rich musicality to the forefront.
For both artists, A Better World represents a return to their musical foundations. “I’m very proud of this record we did with David,” Cedric Gervais shared. “It comes back to our musical roots—being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!”
The collaboration follows a string of past successes for the duo, including 2016’s Would I Lie to You, which has surpassed 500 million streams, and 2023’s Switch on Spinnin’ Records. Gervais has maintained his presence on the global dance scene with hits like Bad Girl and Feel Better, while performing at major festivals such as EDC Orlando and Solar Music Festival.
Meanwhile, David Guetta is set for a massive summer, with residencies at Ibiza hotspots Ushuaïa and UNVRS and headlining slots at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and more. He’ll also grace stadium stages across Europe, including Marseille’s Orange Vélodrome.
A Better World is now available for streaming, offering fans a euphoric dose of French house revivalism.
