Cam shares “Everblue” and teases third album ‘All Things Light’, out July 18.
With “Everblue,” Grammy-winning artist Cam introduces her latest chapter—an intimate, self-aware, and profoundly moving track leading into her next album, All Things Light.
Written with Aldae and Tyler Johnson, the song’s vulnerable tone aligns with what Cam describes as “peak sad girl.”
“In a way I think we’re all eternally heartbroken by the world… I’m all done chasing what wasn’t meant for me,” she shares.
Directed by James Mackel, the video amplifies the song’s melancholic depth, utilizing dreamlike visuals to explore healing and detachment.
All Things Light, arriving July 18 on RCA Records, has been years in the making. Born out of Cam’s experience becoming a mother during the pandemic, the album channels deep introspection and emotional recalibration. Tracks like “Alchemy” and “Turns Out That I Am God” introduced its sonic palette, one rooted in genre-fluid exploration.
Producers and contributors on the album include Michael Uzowuru, Ethan Gruska, Jeff Bhasker, and Starrah—an all-star team representing multiple genres and musical movements.
Drawing from both personal grief and growth, Cam has crafted what may be her most visionary release yet. All Things Light doesn’t just reflect a new sound—it reveals a new self.
