Beks emerges strong with ‘Hard Gloss’—a debut EP full of empowerment, club-pop, and raw truth.

Beks steps into the spotlight with the release of her debut EP Hard Gloss, offering an emotionally charged and rhythm-driven collection that marks a new chapter in her creative journey.

Known for her stage presence—seen in shows with Madelline and London’s Mighty Hoopla—Beks now presents Hard Gloss, a bold expression of reclaiming artistic independence. The release is paired with her new single Who You Kidding.

Having transitioned from writing camps to personal creation, Beks teamed with producer PALMR to shape her distinct sound, blending club-pop with narrative honesty. With Tim Rowkins and Robin Schmidt finalizing the mix and master, Hard Gloss boasts both substance and shimmer.

“I’d spent so much time writing for and with others, I needed to find my own voice again. There was no safety net this time. Just me, backing myself. ‘Hard Gloss’ is what came out of that,” Beks reveals.

The lead single Who You Kidding pulses with high-energy beats and sleek vocals, confronting the stories we tell ourselves to cope with hidden truths.

“It’s the sound of high-voltage empowerment. Part of it was written under a rusty umbrella on my manager’s balcony in the middle of a lightning storm in London. I dropped all creative filters and let the truth drive the song. That bridge? It’s my proudest moment,” she adds.

The EP also features viral track I Knew A Girl, vibrant Butter, and emotional Melodrama. It’s a strong statement from Beks—an artist ready to speak her truth through unapologetic pop.
