Ally Venable is back and stronger than ever with her upcoming sixth studio album, Money & Power, set for release on April 18 via Ruf Records. The Texas-based guitarist and singer-songwriter has been redefining blues-rock for a decade, and this album marks her most powerful statement yet.
Recorded in Nashville’s legendary Soundstage Studios, Money & Power is produced by Grammy-winning drummer Tom Hambridge and boasts high-profile collaborations with Shemekia Copeland and Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram.

Venable describes the album as a call to action, stating, “This record is about showing the world that women belong in blues and rock. Every track is a testament to strength, resilience, and passion.”
With tracks like “Brown Liquor”, featuring a searing guitar solo from Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, and “Unbreakable,” a bold anthem with Shemekia Copeland, the album delivers raw energy and emotional depth. Songs like “Maybe Someday” bring a soulful twist, while the title track makes a fearless statement about power and ambition.
Coming off the success of Real Gone—which topped the Billboard Blues Chart—Venable continues her rise as one of today’s leading blues artists. With Money & Power, she solidifies her reputation as a fearless trailblazer in modern blues-rock.
