Ally Salort makes her mark with debut EP ‘Change of Plans’, a personal and powerful alt-pop journey.
Emerging alt-pop artist Ally Salort releases her debut EP Change of Plans today through Disruptor Records/RCA Records. A powerful introduction to her artistic range, the EP combines unfiltered emotion with introspective storytelling, carving out a distinctive space for the newcomer.
Comprising six tracks—including fan-favorite singles “Horror Movie” and “Tattoo (Selective Memory)”—the EP also brings fresh interpretations of “Swiss Army Knife” and “Any Way I Can.” Together, these songs reveal a narrative of growth, heartbreak, and the messiness in between.
Salort explains: “‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through…”
Each song is threaded with vivid reflection and poetic honesty, capturing a journey that is both deeply personal and broadly relatable. From moments of romantic confusion to affirmations of self-worth, Change of Plans is rich with emotional depth.
Ally is set to support the release with her first-ever headlining shows this August, performing in Los Angeles on August 14 and New York on August 20. She’ll also make her debut at Austin City Limits on October 12, further cementing her status as one of 2025’s artists to watch.
