Aidan Bissett shares “2 much 2 handle,” a bold new single from his debut LP due July 25.

Breakout indie-pop star Aidan Bissett continues to build anticipation for his debut album shut up and love me with the release of his dynamic new single, “2 much 2 handle,” out now via Capitol Records. Known for blending vibrant pop sensibilities with lyrical honesty, Bissett delivers a track that explores the dizzying rush of early infatuation through energetic production and vivid storytelling.

Driven by a bouncing piano riff and punchy drums, “2 much 2 handle” finds Bissett toying with rhythm and pacing as he captures the emotional high-wire act of new attraction. “On the table I was kissing your mouth, was it too much to handle?” he sings. “Told your daddy that I slept on the couch, but he’s smart enough to figure it out.”

“This one feels like a stop-and-go rollercoaster,” Bissett shares. “It captures the feeling of hitting your highest peaks and your lowest lows. It’s about anticipation — you’re going up and up, but the fall never happens.” The track’s visualizer reflects that tension, portraying Bissett on a conveyor belt as the world moves around him.

The single follows “ricochet” and “are we in love yet?”, two earlier previews of the upcoming album. To coincide with the album rollout, Bissett has announced a North American tour launching September 14 in San Diego, with stops including Irving Plaza in New York and a finale at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on October 22. Tickets go on sale May 16 at 10AM local time.
