Tel Aviv’s Adam Ten and Liverpool’s Bontan, two influential forces in the house music scene, have joined creative energies for their new single, “Hey.” Released via Insomniac Records, the track delivers a deep, tribal groove that seamlessly merges their unique styles.
“Hey” is a percussive-driven masterpiece, building on vivacious djembe and shaker patterns that create an intricate rhythm. Adding buzzing synth saw waves and whirring textures, the track weaves together layers of sound beneath a retro-contemporary hip-hop hook sung in a West African dialect. The result is a vibrant and innovative blend of global influences.
Adam Ten, recognized by Pete Tong as ‘One To Watch’ in 2024, has made waves on the underground house circuit with his psychedelic and culturally diverse approach. His Essential Mix debut this year and performances at major events like Coachella, Circoloco Ibiza, and EDC Mexico have solidified his reputation as a tastemaker. 
Bontan, hailed as Radio 1’s ‘Future Star’ and ‘Best Newcomer’ at the DJ Awards, is no stranger to creating standout tracks. With upcoming sets at Space Miami, The Warehouse Project Manchester, and Zamna Tulum, he continues to leave a mark on the global stage.
