The genesis of ‘Truckers and Trolls’ lies in a personal incident involving a pallet delivery at the artist’s home. What was intended as a routine social media upload quickly spiraled into an uncontrollable viral event. Sim explains, “The whole truckers and trolls song came about when I made, what I thought was, a harmless short of a pallet Delivery Driver delivering something to my yard. I got into a polite argument with him and it went viral on TikTok. I had about 550 hateful comments from angry truckers and trolls. By the time we had made the song the moment had passed, unfortunately.”
