Sasha Keable unveils ‘act right’, a powerful R&B project with Beam on ‘work’ and Leon Thomas on ‘move it along’.

The next chapter in Sasha Keable’s journey arrives with warmth and power. ‘act right’ is out now on The Fight Club Records, Sony Music UK, and it stands as her most emotionally driven project so far. The music was written in the wake of a painful breakup, and it carries the story from raw anger to reflection and a confident new beginning.

Sasha describes the source and the necessity behind the songs in a way that feels both personal and universal. “This project comes from a place of betrayal and heartbreak,” says Sasha. “I felt like if I didn’t make this music I might lose my mind. I made this project for myself, it’s exactly what I needed.”

The sound places Sasha’s powerhouse vocals right up front. There is a clear blend of nostalgic R&B and modern soul textures, and the collaborators are carefully chosen. Beam joins on the sultry, self assured ‘work’. Leon Thomas, this year’s biggest R&B breakout, co writes and features on the focus single ‘move it along’. That track is a statement of defiance and growth, as Sasha looks back at what was and chooses to step forward with confidence, ring the alarm please.

Across seven tracks, ‘act right’ holds a full spectrum of feeling. The sequence includes ‘FEEL SOMETHING’, ‘act right’, ‘can’t stop’, ‘work’ featuring Beam, ‘WHY’, ‘move it along’ featuring Leon Thomas, and ‘heartbeat’. The arc is intentional, and every title adds a new shade to the story.

With its mix of heart, candor, and soulful craft, ‘act right’ points to what is coming next for Sasha Keable. The project feels grounded and strong, a beautiful reminder that songwriting can turn difficult moments into something uplifting and true.
