Watch Myah’s Bonnie and Clyde-inspired “glitter” video and preview her upcoming debut album.

Rising indie-pop voice myah introduces a new chapter in her creative path with the announcement of her debut LP i don’t know what i’m feeling, due August 29. As a preview, she releases the glossy new single “glitter” with a cinematic video steeped in vintage references and narrative flair.

“glitter” emerges as a highlight of the 17-track project, offering a bright yet emotionally nuanced portrayal of love and its lingering traces. According to myah:

“It was inspired by someone telling me they found my glitter in their apartment and thought of me.”

The single reflects a broader theme across the album: grappling with disillusionment and self-exploration. Myah describes the LP as a deeply personal unraveling of what love and adulthood really mean:

“It touches on the crisis you experience as you start to get older and realize that romance and love aren’t what you’ve been told your whole life.”

From “glitter” to other tracks across the album, myah builds a continuous narrative, each song flowing into the next to paint an emotional arc. The record, she explains, is meant to be experienced front to back:

“It’s designed so that when people finish the album, they’re left wondering where I am now…and the truth is, I don’t know either.”

With a music video that channels Bonnie & Clyde meets Scooby Doo, myah leans into unexpected visual choices, showcasing her passion for creating immersive experiences:

“I like curating experiences versus a singular aesthetic.”
