The enigmatic and enchanting Luvcat has announced her debut full-length album Vicious Delicious, set to arrive October 31st via a visual and sonic spectacle. The title track, released today, offers a glimpse into the seductive madness that awaits.
A hypnotic blend of cabaret, glam rock, and theatrical chaos, the single is Luvcat at her most daring. Her lyrics paint a vivid image of obsession and magnetic danger. “‘Vicious Delicious’ is a song about a terrible man who tasted like heaven,” Luvcat reveals. “He was moreish, magnetic, devilishly handsome and danced like Fred Astaire.”
Accompanying the single is a surreal, cinematic music video directed by the artist herself. Inspired by Morticia and Gomez, Moulin Rouge, and vintage dance sequences, it encapsulates Luvcat’s vision of toxic romance laced with elegance and excess. “We filmed at the most haunted hotel in the UK, which happens to be in my hometown Liverpool,” she adds.
