“Believe” by Clean Bandit and Lloyiso blends orchestral textures with soul and personal empowerment.
British trio Clean Bandit unveil their newest single “Believe,” created with South African sensation Lloyiso. This cross-continental partnership results in an emotive orchestral pop anthem, rich with optimism and self-belief.
Released as part of their ongoing musical resurgence, “Believe” continues Clean Bandit’s evolution while staying rooted in their signature string-infused style. Lloyiso’s warm, resonant vocals elevate the track’s themes of perseverance and inner strength.
Grace from the band shares: “This is probably our most organic collaboration ever… The house was amazing, people were writing music in all the bedrooms… Then LLOYISO walked in and just SANG, at the top of his lungs. It was so moving… We all went crazy when we heard [Jack’s chords] — making a song across continents felt so special.”
For Lloyiso, the message behind the song is deeply personal: “‘Believe’ is about choosing yourself even when it’s hard, even when you’re unsure… I hope it resonates with anyone who’s had to fight to hold on to their light.”
Visual artist Rita Zimmermann complements the single with expressive artwork, describing it as “a declaration of faith… To believe — and to begin again.”
A stripped-down version of “Believe” was debuted acoustically at the Isle of Wight Festival beneath the evening sky, followed by Clean Bandit’s headlining performance. It marked another strong moment in their musical return, which kicked off in 2024 with the hit “Cry Baby” alongside Anne-Marie and David Guetta, which held chart positions for over 10 weeks.
