Global girl group KATSEYE share “Gabriela,” a bold new single and video tribute to telenovelas.

As the countdown continues to their debut EP Beautiful Chaos on June 27, genre-defying girl group KATSEYE has released their newest single, “Gabriela”—a punchy, dance-ready track that seamlessly blends pop with Latin flair.

Produced by hitmakers Andrew Watt and John Ryan, “Gabriela” feels like a contemporary answer to Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene”—but recast for a new generation. The song’s centerpiece is a confident Spanish verse by Daniela, who brings her Cuban and Venezuelan heritage to the forefront.

Beyond the track, the group delivered a cinematic music video starring Jessica Alba as the CEO of Gabriela Enterprises. As Alba contemplates her successor, each member of KATSEYE turns the corporate setting into a battleground of ambition. Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, the video received a prime debut via MTV Live and Times Square billboards.

“KATSEYE is showing the world how drama can meet diversity and sound,” Billboard wrote following the video drop.

“Our music video for ‘Gabriela’ is vibrant, colorful, dramatic, and full of heart,” shares KATSEYE. “We leaned into the world of telenovelas… It’s all love, all homage, and definitely all drama!”

With members representing six cultural backgrounds across continents, KATSEYE continues to expand global pop’s reach. Following the viral success of “Gnarly” and its remix with Ice Spice, the group is set to perform the track at the 2025 Kids Choice Awards.
