Country sensation Megan Moroney is wasting no time following up her chart-topping success. Her newest single, “6 Months Later,” lands with a bang and cements her status as one of the genre’s brightest young stars.
Co-written with Ben Williams, David “Messy” Mescon, and Rob Hatch, the song delivers a breezy yet impactful post-breakup narrative. “Let me set you the scene / November circa 2019,” Moroney sings, opening a vivid emotional journal. Produced by her trusted collaborator Kristian Bush, the song’s mix of steel guitar, upbeat rhythm, and catchy melodic phrasing amplifies the punch.
But it’s the chorus that hits hardest: “You’re a little too late to the party, heartbreaker / What doesn’t kill you calls you 6 months later.”
