“Cash Out” brings Bobby Shmurda’s 2014 anthem into today’s club scene with help from SIDEPIECE’s production power.
Rising out of nostalgia and into modern rave territory, “Cash Out” is the bold new single from SIDEPIECE and Bobby Shmurda, released on June 20 via the newly launched Lip Service label. A transformed take on Shmurda’s breakthrough hit “Hot N*gga,” the track is poised to dominate dance floors this summer.
The collaboration is a significant moment for both artists. For SIDEPIECE, it signals the launch of Lip Service, their imprint tailored for forward-thinking dance music. For Bobby Shmurda, it marks a re-entry into the spotlight with a twist, pairing his unmistakable delivery with house music sensibilities.
At EDC Las Vegas, fans got a surprise taste of “Cash Out” when Shmurda appeared live onstage during SIDEPIECE’s set, driving anticipation for the track’s release. The duo, known for their 2020 global smash “On My Mind,” continue to expand their genre-blending catalog with a dance-floor-ready sound.
“‘Cash Out’ started as a fun idea for us to play live. But from the first time we dropped it, we realized it was bigger than anything we’d done before… Bobby… loves dance music and electronic culture, so it was a perfect fit,” shared SIDEPIECE.
Bobby Shmurda’s involvement was more than a sampled cameo—he re-recorded his vocals, injecting new energy into a track that’s already found fans among some of electronic music’s biggest names.
“Cash Out” is not just a rework—it’s a reinvention, pushing boundaries at the intersection of hip-hop and house. And for SIDEPIECE, this is only the beginning of what Lip Service promises to bring to the dance scene.
