Raf-Saperra steps into new territory with “Step Out,” a pop-driven Punjabi anthem produced by Ikky.
Trailblazing British Punjabi artist Raf-Saperra unveils his newest single “Step Out” via Polydor Records and Universal Music Canada, marking a bold leap into new sonic territory. Produced by hitmaker Ikky, the track sees Raf channeling vibrant pop energy through his culturally rich, signature Punjabi style.
“First time stepping into the pop lane… and who better to do it with than the hitmaker himself, Ikky. ‘Step Out’ is a full-blown earworm – catchy, bold, and backed by a visual straight out of a cartoon-meets-cinema dream. Press play and don’t look back!” shares Raf.
The track serves as the latest collaboration between Raf and Ikky following “Heer” earlier this year. Blending London’s Dub influences with Toronto’s dancehall textures and rooted in Punjabi musical tradition, “Step Out” reflects a global musical fusion. It’s also a preview of Raf’s upcoming pop-forward EP, made in full partnership with Ikky. 
The accompanying video, directed by Bedroom Projects and Avleen Kaur, matches the song’s energy—high-gloss, stylized, and cinematic—offering a dynamic portrayal of Raf stepping confidently into uncharted creative territory.
Raf-Saperra has long pushed the boundaries of genre, from his acclaimed 2023 debut Ruff Around The Edges to 2024’s 5 Deadly Venomz with rap legends like Conway The Machine and Dave East. With “Step Out”, he reaffirms that Punjabi music knows no borders—and neither does his vision.
