Mimi Webb launches her new era with “Love Language” and announces second album “Confessions”.
Mimi Webb has officially kicked off a new chapter in her career with the release of her latest single “Love Language,” released alongside the announcement of her second studio album Confessions, arriving September 12 on Epic Records.
The track sees Mimi expanding her sonic palette. Co-written and co-produced in sessions that spanned both Los Angeles and London, “Love Language” signals a more vulnerable and artistically daring version of Mimi. The track builds anticipation for the album’s broader narrative and themes.
Sharing her excitement, Mimi said: “‘Love Language’ is my first step into this new era and I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music. The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can’t wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.” 
The music video, directed by Bradley&Pablo, is set to premiere on June 10 and promises a visual counterpart to the single’s energetic and intimate tone.
With Confessions, Mimi dives deeper than ever before. The project explores emotional highs and lows while holding onto her signature melodic punch. “I dug deep and figured out what I want to say not just as an artist, but as a person,” she said. “I decided to be brutally honest. It’s easy to be like, ‘Everything is wonderful’—even when there’s so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, ‘This is who I am!’.”
The single follows “Mind Reader,” her collaboration with Meghan Trainor, a chart-topping effort that showcased another dimension of her evolving artistry.
After a high-profile 2024 tour schedule with the Jonas Brothers and appearances at top festivals, Mimi Webb is setting the stage for what’s shaping up to be a landmark release in September.
