“Adesso” shows Sophia Warren embracing growth and anxiety on her cinematic new track “Purple.”

Sophia Warren deepens her artistic narrative with the release of Adesso, her second EP in a trilogy chronicling personal growth. Out now via Tigris 33/UMG, the project arrives alongside the meditative new single “Purple” and its visualizer, extending Warren’s exploration of inner tension and healing.

Produced by Chris Coady, the EP highlights Warren’s transition from emotional confusion to clarity. “‘Adesso’” means ‘now’ in Italian,” Warren explains, “and the EP asks, who am I without them? What do I truly want?”

Each track on Adesso serves as a snapshot of self-exploration. Particularly striking is “Purple,” which blends sonic textures with lyrical depth. “It’s the sound of me facing my anxiety,” Warren says, “of standing still in the chaos of my own mind and choosing to embrace every part of myself.”

The color metaphor in “Purple” merges emotional themes — red for anger, blue for sadness — culminating in a purple hue that symbolizes balance. “Even when I wanted to run from it,” she reflects, “I chose to sit with each emotion without shame.”

With Coady’s atmospheric production and Warren’s introspective lyrics, Adesso brings listeners to the heart of emotional self-awareness, offering a deeply personal yet universally relatable experience.
